You may start with a book, a web site, or an architect. We use our years of experience to go over a design you have already picked, or we can help you select and design a plan. There are many ways to design that don’t really break the bank but lend many custom and unique features to your home. Using quality materials is one key. Even a great design needs great execution. Materials and workmanship are keys to enjoyment. One goal is that every day, as you drive up to your home, you feel good about it. When you invite people over, they should see and feel the enjoyment you have in your custom home. Your creative elements make it your home, not just someone’s idea of a good design. We can help add those special touches . Paying for your Home Short of a lottery ticket or a rich uncle, we have to do it the old-fashioned way. Hard work. There are some principles on how to get a custom home financed and we will take the time to go over that with you. Your Home’s Location What’ the old saw, “There are three things to consider with real estate. Location, location, location.” While we are partial to Promontory Ridge and Hidden Creek, we know that not everyone can live in those subdivisions. We have been building in the area for many years and can assist you in finding other locations if you wish. The Process We’ll help guide you through the entire process—from start to finish. In fact, when you become a client of ours, we will provide you with a custom manual of about 200 pages that provides a ready reference for getting it all started and then how to enjoy the home for many years to come. How many people are in your team? Realtor, interior decorator, landscape architect, architect/designer, lender, builder? Someone needs to coordinate them all and we will assist you in getting that chore done. Just takes experience.
Your Custom Building Team You get about 60+ years of experience. You might not know the Liberty name, but over 30 years of building homes in Northern Illinois and 30 years of creating investments and home transactions. We have designed, built, developed, managed, so many properties over the years it is hard to remember them all. But, if you want a tour we will be happy to accommodate you. When you take your new homeowner orientation with us, just before closing or moving in, everything comes together. Take time out to visit the site as the home goes up. Take pictures so you will have a book of remembrance. You can be as actively engaged, or as little engaged, as you wish. But, satisfaction is the key.
